  1. I think we forget this a lot when we ask God to do big, impacting actions through us. Its only when we are faithful with the at home, behind closed doors actions that God will trust us with a bit more, and then a bit more.

    Blessings,
    Meggie

  2. Love it! A great encouragement for me right now as I’m trying to “wait on the Lord” for an opportunity/great challenge He may be giving me.

    1. I’m glad it was able to encourage you, Briana. How wonderful that you are seeking to wait on the Lord right now!

By the way, I’d be interested to know how you found my blog.

  3. Very, very true, Amy. It really puts into perspective what our heart response should be to the little things. They are all training ground for what the Lord will bring to us in the future . . . and it reminds me of the passage in Scripture that says that he who is faithful with little will be entrusted with much.

Thank you for sharing this quote as it is a good reminder!

    1. You’re welcome, Sarah. Thank you, also, for sharing what you did in your comment. That passage of Scripture that you mentioned has been one that has been very helpful in my life!

  4. Hi Amy,

Haven’t commented on your blog in a while! Thanks for the quote it’s a great remainder to be faithful in everything I do!

    Blessings,
    Abby

p.s. I want to reply to your email one of these days :)

    1. Thanks for commenting, Abby, and you’re welcome in regards to sharing the quote. I’ll look forward to hearing from you, though there’s no rush on replying to the email. Just when you have the time :)

  5. Hi Amy,

I like good quotes. Hmmm…Hudson Taylor, what a missionary! Hope you’re enjoying your summer! I can’t believe we’re already mid-June.

    1. I like quotes, too =) It’s a blessing to be able to learn from the wisdom of others who have walked with God.

Yes, I have been enjoying the summer; though, it’s flying by very quickly! I hope that you have had opportunity to be doing some of the things you had planned for the summer (like writing those books!).

please share your thoughts!
